In addition to professional design and execution of your project, many additional survey and non-survey services are available.
Additional survey question types beyond those in our Platinum product include:
- Semantic Differential formats. (although these questions can be
written as Likert scaled items using our Gold product; the statistical sophistication required for
meaningful analysis is likely beyond the typical Gold or Platinum client and is not recommended for
a self-administered research project)
Additional survey functionality includes:
- Randomized response categories
- Full experimental modalities.
Experimental design is a unique competence of Web Opinion Research that can be used to reveal hidden
characteristics of which subjects themselves are often unaware.

to Dr. Robert W. Schaffer. Include in your
e-mail full contact information and a brief overview of your firm, what you see as your current
decision problems, and what you hope to achieve by doing business research.
We will respond within three business days with an assessment of our availability
to complete your project in a timely manner. At this point we usually like to have
a more formal discussion of your research needs and our ability to address those
needs. If it appears that we will be able to help you, the next step would be the preparation of a formal research proposal.
It will usually take a week or more to complete a research proposal and may include several phone calls
and even sometimes an on-site visit by Dr. Schaffer himself. The research proposal will describe in
detail the suggested research activities to be preformed, provide a time frame for completion of each
activity, and offer explanations for the different research alternatives considered and the recommendations
presented. An itemized listing of research expenses and fees will be included.
There is a $3,000 fee to prepare a complete Titanium research proposal. This fee is not refundable but will
be subtracted from the final cost of any Titanium project commissioned. There is a minimum down payment of
$9,000 that must be paid prior to start of a Titanium project.
